Book #25: The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Vol. II by Diana Wynne Jones

Finished just in time for the new year! I like these stories a lot better now that I've accepted that they're not necessarily related to one another. In this book, two very different stories are presented. The first involved fueding magical families in Italy, while the second involves pupils in an alternate world in which witchcraft is punishable by death, but very common among the populace. I would, though, love to read more about the stories in the first volume, especially with Christopher. Will need to pick up the third volume sometime soon, for sure.
