Nummer 29.
29. How often do you think about writing? Ever come across something IRL that reminds you of your story/characters?
Every day! Especially while driving, showering, walking, waiting for something, working, trying to focus on a paper I need to write... The paper's done, btw. I have seen a few of my characters in real life, and I'm only counting times I saw them AFTER I had their image in my head. Several of them are based, at least in appearance, on people I've actually met, but I'm not counting that. I saw Andrew once when I was subbing for a high school German class. Not Andrew when we first meet him, but at the end of the story, when he's 15. And I saw Chris at Whole Foods once, but younger than he appears in my books. Patrick, of course, reminds me very much of Andrew, and I've given Andrew some of his characteristics as a result.
